About Me
My name is Joshua Hotchin, and I am an educator who is passionate about digital literacy and educational technology. I created this website in 2025 as part of my Master of Education (M.Ed.) project at the University of Victoria (UVic).
Throughout my studies and teaching experience, I’ve noticed many students feel overwhelmed and encounter steep learning curves when navigating digital tools like OpenETC’s Mattermost and WordPress. My goal is to make these technologies more approachable through clear, practical tutorials that help learners feel confident when using these platforms.
